Risk disclosure

Please read this before automating a trading strategy.

Last updated 28 October 2026. This page is a plain-language draft and may be revised.

Market risk

Trading in futures and options involves a high risk of loss, and you can lose more than you expect in a short time. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.

Past and simulated results

Backtests and paper trading show how a set of rules behaved in the past or in a simulation. They do not guarantee future results. Live trading has costs, slippage and fills that a backtest can only estimate.

Technical risk

Automated trading depends on systems that can fail or be delayed, for example:

  • broker or exchange outages, rejected orders and changed rules
  • delayed or missing market data
  • internet, server or software failures
  • orders filled at a different price than expected in fast markets

Your decisions

The strategy, the decision to trade it and the size you trade are yours. Tickwork does not give investment advice and is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst. Keep an eye on your account, and use the exit-all switch whenever you need to.
